The Cow is a sacred and honored animal to many cultures and tribes. Hindus once considered the Cow their most sacred animal in their custody and the killing of them was prohibited by law. The Irish also venerated Cows and they were considered to have large monetary value, therefore, they were guarded and protected accordingly.
